4-story residential building originally completed in about 1830 as a rowhouse. By 1880, the building was occupied by a boarding house, and by 1890 had been converted to a factory. Jacob Scholnick's fur company bought and occupied the building from 1945 to the early 1960s, along with Heyman Sewing Machine Co. as a tenant. In the 1960s, the building began to be used as residential. In 1984, the building's facade was replaced. The lower two floors are smooth stuccoed, painted pink and beige, with four square windows on the 2nd floor. The upper two floors are clad in dark red brick, with three bays of windows. The brick roof parapet has a thin stone coping, and a small peaked pediment in the center.
