4-story Italianate residential building completed in 1858. It is clad in red Roman brick, three bays wide, above a storefront with black-painted brownstone banded piers, and black cast-iron paneled and fluted columns with Corinthian capitals. A black metal fire escape runs down the left two-thirds of the facade, which is topped by a black roof cornice with scrolled and foliate wooden brackets and paneled frieze.
Ten years after its completion, it housed commercial firms, and continued as such for most of the 20th century as well. A luncheonette occupied part of the building from 1945 to 1970, around which time, loft dwellers began moving in. The ground floor is occupied by Oak boutique.
