6-story Second Empire-style cast-iron residential building completed in 1871. Designed by Edward H. Kendall as a carriage warehouse, the building originally extended through to Broadway, but that portion was demolished in 1910 for the construction of a new building on Broadway. The original central tower was removed after a fire in 1888 and the crested mansard roof was removed in 1891 when the sixth story was added by architect Francis H. Kimball.

The nine-bay-wide facade is clad in white brick and cast-iron. The storefront piers and columns have Ionic caps and shields, and there is a historic hanging clock above the main entrance. The base is crowned by a dentiled cornice. The upper facade has recessed windows with curved-corner lintels between piers with fluted bases and modified caps. Dentil courses divide each floor. The crowning iron roof cornice has scrolled brackets, egg-and-dart moldings, and dentils. The ground floor is occupied by Alan Moss boutique.
