5-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1874. Designed by Detlef Lienau as a store and warehouse, it has a beige brick and marble facade, three bays wide. The ground floor has a glass and black pressed-metal storefront that was probably installed in 1921. At the right side is the round-arched entrance, with Doric pilasters and a fanlight.

The upper floors, which decrease in height as they ascend, have Tuscan columns and pilasters. The stone is rusticated at the 2nd & 3rd floors. All the windows are round-arched, with architrave moldings and foliate keystones at the 4th & 5th floors. Cornices separate each floor, projecting forward at the center bay. The facade is crowned by an elaborate black cornice with dentils, foliate brackets, and surmounting gable. The rear facade at the alley is clad in brick, with round-arched windows and a black metal fire escape below a corbelled parapet.

By the 1920s, the building contained manufacturing lofts, and continued in that use until 2005, when it was converted to condominiums. The ground floor is occupied by Necessary Clothing.
