7-story residential building completed in 1897. Designed by Jardine, Kent & Jardine as a candy manufacturing building, with its facade organized into three sections of three windows each. It has a 2-story brick and limestone base with rounded columns flanking each pier. The upper floors are clad in buff-colored brick and stone. The round-arched windows on the seventh floor form a continuous arcade across the facade; they are outlined by a terra-cotta egg-and-dart molding. A metal fire escape runs down the eastern third of the facade. The ground floor is occupied by Louis K. Meisel Gallery - noted for its photorealistic painters, its collection of original pin-up art. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch lives in the penthouse.
