5-story French-Renaissance cast-iron residential building completed in 1883. Designed by Jarvis Morgan Slade as a store, it is painted bright white. This remarkably well-maintained building has a diagonal bay at the corner of Prince & Greene Streets, with five bays along Prince Street, and the Greene Street elevation organized into three sections of three bays each, with one extra, wider bay at the north end. The pilasters are all fluted at the bases, and have composite capitals. The upper floor windows are segmental-arched, and grow shorter with each rising floor. The cornice over the ground floor has modillioned, and there are brackets and dentils on the roof cornice. The Greene Street facade features a triangular pediment at the center of the roof line. The ground floor is occupied by Ralph Lauren.
