5-story Neo-Grec residential building originally completed in 1833 as a 3-story row house. It was raised to five floors in 1878, and the new facade extended to the lot line. Designed by William Waring, it is surfaced in brownstone painted off-white. The windows are segmental-arched, with simple curved lintels over the outer bays and across the top floor. A larger, eared lintel is found over the eastern window on the 2nd floor. A metal fire escape runs down the facade, which is crowned by a bracketed and modillioned metal roof cornice with a shallow triangular pediment. The ground floor is occupied by A&R newsstand and Psychic Spritual Advisor.
