7-story modernist residential building completed in 2002. Designed by Gene Kaufman, it is clad in dark grey brick and beige-grey metal. The ground floor has a large garage door at the south end. At the left side of the facade, there is a large square studio window at the 2nd floor, above which the brick projects slightly forward, with the projecting portion stair-stepping up the facade to the right as it ascends. The 6th floor is set slightly back, and clad completely in glass and metal, with a recessed penthouse and roof deck on top.

This address was previously the site of the birthplace of New York mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, born on December 11, 1882. That building collapsed in 1987 while being renovated, killing a 13-month-old baby. The site was vacant until the construction of the current building began in 2001.
