5-story Queen Anne-style residential building completed in 1894. Designed by Walter G. Jones as a store-and-loft building, four bays wide, it is now connected internally with 462 West Broadway, and in use as condominiums. In 2001, the top three floors were painted in a colorful but bizarre medley of black wolf heads devouring fleeing pigs in pink, black and blue by artist Friedrich Gross. Above, the building is crowned by a roof cornice with brackets, modillions and dentils, and a triangular pediment in the center. A metal fire escape runs down the center of the facade. The ground floor is occupied by a Leica camera store.
