Add category
4-story residential building completed about 1811 as a 3-story dwelling. In 1877 it received a fourth story and alterations for commercial use, designed by F.W. Klempt, for Jacob Weeks, a real estate developer. Samuel A. Hertz designed a new facade for the 30th & 9th Corporation in 1945 when the building was converted for use as a store and offices. The building currently houses cooperative apartments. It is clad in light-grey brick, with paired double windows on the upper floors. A brick parapet caps the roof line.
