5-story residential building completed in 1867. Designed by John M. Forster as a store-and-loft building, it was built as three almost separate twenty-foot wide buildings, the northernmost with a small extension to Hubert Street. The ground floor retains its black cast-iron piers, although the capitals and cornice have been removed. The storefronts have a series of small red awnings. The upper floors are surfaced in beige smooth stucco, scored to resemble stonework. Italianate lintels top the tall window openings. The Hubert Street facade is treated similarly to the Greenwich Street facade, but with red brick, and it has a less-ornate cornice than the three identical red bracketed roof cornices facing Greenwich. There is also a black metal fire escape running down the Hubert elevation.

Around the turn of the century, it was used as a cheese warehouse. From around 1940 to the late 1960s, the building was occupied by the Embassy Grocery Corporation whose advertising sign is painted on the adjacent 405 Greenwich Street. In the 1980s, is was occupied by a bakery warehouse. At the end of the '80s, it was converted to apartment usage, and the brick facade was covered with scored stucco. The ground floor is occupied by Wolfgang's Steakhouse.
