4-story residential building completed in 1886. Designed by Edward Simon as a store-and-loft building. It has a black cast-iron ground floor with storefronts, and a suspended metal canopy. The upper floors are clad in red brick. The simple windows have stone sills and flush lintels. A metal fire escape runs down the center of the facade, which is topped by a metal roof cornice with brackets and dentils.
Most of the building's early tenants were various dairy merchants. Through the 1970s and 80s the Imperia Foods Company was housed here. Today the building is residential with ground level retail/restaurant.
