6-story Italianate (with a Second Empire-style addition) residential building originally completed in 1861 as a 5-story store-and-loft building. The upper floors are clad in grey marble, with two tiers of double-height arched bays with scrolled keystones and paneled spandrels. The fifth-story cornice has been removed. The mansard roof was added in 1871, designed by John G. Prague. it has three dormers, a central pedimented opening flanked by two round-arched openings.

A narrow fire escape runs down the center of the facade. The ground floor is painted white, with fluted columns. Many tenants of the building through the late 1800s to early 1900s were in the textiles industry. The upper floors were converted to residential in the 1980s. The ground floor is occupied by Lotus Blue restaurant.
