The strong hold place of the well known tribe of "Khafaja". Most of its inhabitants are working in the countries of The Persian Gulf, mostly in Saudi Arabia with some exceptions in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates. Center of the Maskanah subdistrict of Manbij district of Aleppo Governorate.
