Boraka is a managed nature reserve with Ordinance No.163 from 19.01.1966 issue 32/1966 of the State Gazette for the purpose of protecting the natural pine forests. Boraka is located on the land of Sarnitsa village, Haskovo district. The maintained reserve is 14.78 ha.
The vegetation cover of the protected area is part of the xerothermic oak belt. Its composition is dominated by communities of black pine, which are remnants of widespread black pine forests in the past, the conservation of which has been declared a protected area.
