Varna

Bulgaria / Varna /
 city, capital city of state/province/region

Varna (Bulgarian: Варна) is the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, third-largest in Bulgaria after Sofia and Plovdiv, and 81st-largest in the European Union, with a population of 350,745 (2024).
Varna is one of the few Bulgarian cities with a positive population growth and some claim that it has already overtaken Plovdiv for the position of second-largest city, however, this is not supported by official statistics.
