These narrow 4-story residential buildings were built as a pair of townhouses, and completed in 1861. Both have retained their original hooded entrances, carried on diminutive brackets. These four-story houses are extremely simple, with rectangular stone lintels and a corbeled brick roof cornice tying them together at the top. No. 41 had a new picture window at the second floor installed in the early 1900s, taking the place of the two original windows.
