Madam (Matam) VILLAGE (Also Spelled as Mattan in an old map),VANDAVASI Taluk,T.V..MALAI(DT) This is an ancient village. Its old name was Kolathur. This village was connected to the younger days of Emperor Krishna Deva Raya as he was sent to this village temple by his father to repent / meditate on his wild temper and its consequences.
