Parikkalpattu is part of Devimangalam in the revenue division. This village has two parts.An elementary school feeds education to students.Before partition of Parikkalpattu panchayat from Nambedu its office was held in Parikkalpattu. Nambedu library books were brought from Parikkalpattu to Nambedu by this person in 1971. But people of Nambedu did not keep it in proper way.-M.GANDHI.
