  • Like every one I'm proud to born and brought up at Rajahmundry, the historical city in India. Its also called as "RAJAMAHENDRA VARAM" because it was once ruled by one of the ultimate king called as "Sri Raja Raja Narendra". The Main railway station in RJY is named after him. There are 3 huge bridges with a long history. The first bridge is built by the Britishers so that they can transfer their goods and themselves (100 yrs back) and presently the corporation of RJY is planning to make it as a Walk-Park. The second one is the 2nd Largest in Asia and the Largest in India. The Third being the Road cum rail bridge. The fourth is planned. Two Fly-overs are planned to avoid the traffic. It also has the one and only research Institute called as C.T.R.I for Tobacco.

  • Rajahmundry is my native place I am born here and since 1964 I am permanently residing here in Rajahmundry. It is a cultural commercial educational hub in this area. As it is on the banks of the river Godavary the river is is the life line of this city. The people here are gentle friendly and are very docile. Though the city has grown up mostly by migration the atmosphere here is like a villiage calm and pleasant. It can be called as rural city. As I have traveled at length and lived at different places I like and I am fond of this place and many of my friends also endorse my feelings.
  • Rajahmundry is one of the best, calm, honest, greenary, entrepreneurary city in India with abundance potential to develop as knowledge hub and business hub. There are many small scale industries in the city which can be escalated to large scale industries. Rajahmundry is centre of business for entire East Godavari District with 19 MLA's and 4 MP's. Though rajahmundry has got immense potential to to develop, the backwardness of rajahmundry is mainly due to negligence from political parties at centre. I sincerely request all local politicians and public to unite and strive for educational institutes like IIIT, Central University, Govt. Medical University, IIM, Petroleum University. Mostly we should try for 3rd tier software and harrdware parks, Trading centres, etc.
