    jeypore is ok in terms of breakfast, at Rs 5 - Rs 10 you can south indian food near head post office, korosuda vedio. meals and dinner for Rs 15 - 20(pure vegetarian) at jai ambika hotel at m.g road. but about housing people carry an attitude to live in congested lanes. as the town has a diameter of only 5 km yet people are looking for land in rajanagar,parabeda, p.r peta. and these areas have wopping land cost almost equivalent to the cities like delhi,noida and gurgaon. its right time to sell properties in these areas and move to open clean outskirts as these areas carry a risk of price correction

    jeypore is a place of joy,enjoyment, and isthe place where you have no problems with the environment. i am right now in pondicherry where, in rainy season, there is not even a single drop of water. but in the case of jeypore, rain in rainy season,warm in summer. so i prefer jeypore rather than pondicherry.

    Good place, sans better sanitation, better roads, entertainment facilities. The place needs urgent attention on road, rail and air infrastructure. All the houses in the municipality limit have to be numbered for convenience of the outside public. This place also in need of a medical college, a super speciality (or multi-speciality) hospital, a university to bolester it's glory as the "City of Victory", Jayapur.

    Jeypore is pronounced as Jaypur which means the city of victory. This small sleepy town has two very distinct geographical landmarks : the Naktidongar hill and the Jagannath Sagar lake. The town is uniquely situated in Odisha close to the borders of two other states : Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Endowed with breathtaking natural beauty and a cool pleasant climate , Jeypore is an urban paradise tucked amidst forests and hills . But alas , real development is eluding this little place. Even the road connectivity is pathetic. Some slow trains connect this town with rest of the world . Travelling to or from Jeypore in a train with a window side view of the outside world in daylight will be a memorable and enthralling experience.
