5-story residential building completed in 1880. Designed by Edward I. Reynolds as an apartment house called The Margarita, it is clad in red brick, though the entrance floor is now stuccoed to simulate brownstone. The slightly recessed central entrance is atop a wide stoop, which is flanked by two basement windows. The center two of the four window bays at the upper floors are projected slightly forward, and each floor has a continuous stone sill course and a wider lintel course.

The building has a brown bracketed cornice, with a central panel mounted above it to feature the former name of the building, and with handsome Neo-Grec brackets and crestings at either end.
