This bridge carries the HOV lanes of Interstate 395 and U.S. Route 1 over the Potomac River, Ohio Drive, and the Mt. Vernon Trail with 15 spans. It is a steel beam bridge built in 1968, and reconstructed in 2001. It is 2483 feet long. It was originally nameless, although sometimes referred to as the Center Bridge. It was renamed when the original Rochambeau Bridge was renamed the Arland D. Williams, Jr. Bridge in 1983.
