This bridge carries northbound Interstate 395 and U.S. Route 1 over the Potomac River, Ohio Drive, and the Mt. Vernon Trail. It is a steel beam bridge built in 1950, and reconstructed in 2010. It is 2434 feet long. It was originally called the 14th Street Bridge. It was renamed the Rochambeau Bridge in 1958 and renamed again in 1983 for Arland D. Williams, Jr. He was a passenger of Air Florida Flight 90 who died saving while saving others in the Potomac River. Flight 90 had crashed into the bridge in 1982.
