Doctor Conrad Berens residence. A French Norman style cottage constructed circa 1930 on a six acre portion of the original brickyard purchased from Wetmore and Bullock.
Bonheur was the home of the renowned opthalmologist Dr. Conrad Berens and his family for over 30 years. A great clinician, author, organizer and teacher Dr. Berens played a prominent part in the development of key technologies and techniques on which modern opthalmology is based.

The home was owned subsequently by McVicker Snow and his wife Edwina. Edwina Snow was for many years the Publisher of the Oyster Bay Guardian.
