The only diamond producing mine in India operated by National Mineral Development Corporation, produced ~ 80,000 ct diamonds during 2004-2005. Here diamond mining stopped in July 2005. Restarted on 19th June 2009.

  • This mines is not working since july 2005 due to some forest rules and regulation by supreme court of india
  • Diamond mines is not operating,but the land is still full of diamonds. Efforts are made to resolve the issue but they failed. Government authorities and Mines management are in talks and we hope the plant will soon start its operation.
  • This mines will be opened shortly .
