260-foot, 25-story mid-century modern residential building completed in 1971 as a hotel. Designed by Sidney Goldhammer, it is clad in tan and dark-brown brick above a ground floor of black granite. The middle section of the ground floor on the north facade is taller and projects out some, and contains the main entrance, with glass doors. A canopy covers a small drive in front, and is supported by two black granite posts. To the east the ground floor has a garage entrance/exit, and to the west is a horizontal window and a metal service door.
The upper floors have a slightly-recessed center section of brown brick, with two bays of triple-windows. The outer sections are tan brick and have two bays of double-windows. All of the window bays have metal air-conditioning vents below them.
The black stone cladding of the ground floor continues onto the west facade. The upper floors here are tan brick at the front half (with a bay of single-windows and two smaller bathroom windows, the southern of which changes to double-windows at the 8th floor), and the rear, southern half is brown brick with three double-window bays, again with vents. There is also a thin band of tan brick at the south edge.
The rear, south- and east-facing elevations are tan brick with no openings. Previously known as the Eastgate Tower Suite Hotel, the former hotel was converted to apartments in 2012, with 171 apartment units.
