Lipite Beach

Bulgaria / Burgas / Ahtopol /
 beach, invisible

The beach is located close to the village of Sinemorets, 84 km south of Burgas City. It is far less crowded than the nearby south beach of Sinemorets (Butamyata). There are dangerous currents and no lifeguards.
The name of the beach comes from the fact that years ago the area was afforested with many linden trees, which were later cut down and replaced with other trees. Today you can also see some remaining linden tree.
It is also unique with its bizarre rock formations. You can spend hours contemplating the creations of nature and discover animals, human faces, bodies and everything that can give birth to your imagination. Many of these natural sculptures have their names - the Split Rock, the Cave of the Pigeons, the Rock of Sisyphus.
