Comments

  • In 2006, using unclear and inaccurate argumentation, the Supreme Administrative Court stripped Kamchia Sands Protected Area of its protection status and, hence, gave away to criminal "businessmen" the largest sand beach of Bulgaria. The new owners of the former protected area are Rees International (off-shore property of Raiffeisen Centrobank AG) and Yuri Luzhkov (the mayor of Moskow, Russia). It become possible by the colaboration of the former Minister of Agriculture - Nihat Kabil.
