Korabite (The Ships) Rock Formation is a rocky area near Sinemorets in the southern part of the bay. There are two raised above rocks, famous under the name The Ships. This name is because of their shape. Professional and amateur photographers often visit them.
The origin of the name suggests that there were pirates in ancient Sinemorets. It is believed that in this place the pirates made a fire on the high rocks, imitating a lighthouse, and luring the merchant ships to break into the rocks.
