4-story (and joined 5-story) residential building originally completed as two separate buildings in 1860 housing a homeopathic college of medicine. In 1950 they were joined internally and converted to residential use. On Third Avenue both facades are clad in light red brick, with ground-floor storefronts, both with entrances at their south ends. The upper floors of each facade have three bays of single-windows, with simple stone sills and peaked lintels. The 2nd floor at the southern facade has separate lower panes at the windows, and the middle bays at the northern facade has the windows on each floor split vertically into two halves. Air-conditioning vents have been cut below the windows in the outer bays of the northern facade, and the north bay of the southern facade. There is a stone coping at the roof line of the south building, and a thinner metal coping at the higher north building, both surmounted by metal railings.

The south facade on 20th Street has a short return of the wood-and-glass storefront at its east end. Farther west is a window and another entrance to the commercial space. At the far west end is the residential entrance, with a glass door set in a rounded limestone surround with a rounded, green canvas clamshell canopy. Directly to the right is a gated service door, and then a small window.

The upper floors have eight bays of windows with peaked stone lintels. Five of them have the lower panes seen at the 2nd floor of the east facade, and two of the shorter ones are split. The building contains 24 condominium units. The ground floors' east ends are occupied by Barfly, and Gramercy Bagels.
