6-story Romanesque-revival residential building completed in 1901. Designed by George F. Pelham, it is clad in warm-hued brick and terra-cotta. At the ground floor, new storefronts were added in 1940, flanking the narrow central entrance, which has a glass door. The upper floors have four bays of single-windows, round-arched at the 4th floor. There is a variety of banding on the piers of each floor, as well as differing sill courses on the 2nd-4th floors. The 2nd and 3rd floor have bracketed lintels, with the outer bays topped by rounded pediments at the 2nd floor, and triangular pediments at the 3rd floor, each enclosing a carved shield.
The terra-cotta architraves of the arches at the 4th floor have classic portrait head keystones. At the base of the 5th floor, leafy-faced carved grotesques uphold the narrower, projecting brick piers that extend to capitals and then on to the 6th floor, where the banding is doubled and simpler capitals underline the crowning roof cornice. There are carved terra-cotta spandrel panels at each bay between the top two floors, above additional portrait head keystones. A brown metal fire escape runs down the middle two bays. The facade is crowned by a hefty, rust-red pressed-metal roof cornice with a pair of sized brackets framing a center panel that reads "ELITE", topped by a prominent broken pediment. The ground floor is occupied by Nirvana Nails and Spa, and La Posada restaurant.
