112-foot, 12-story mid-century modern cooperative-apartment building completed in 1956. Designed by Maxon, Sells & Ficke, it is clad in red brick. The facade spans six bays in the middle, with two bays on either side set far back. The main entrance is in the eastern of the two middle bays, with metal-framed glass double-doors and sidelights deeply recessed between tan marble side walls; the doorway is set below a rounded, grey canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. Otherwise, the four middle bays have triple-windows, and the outer bays of the middle section have double-windows. The two recessed end bays on each side have triple-windows, except for at the ground floor, where there are double-windows instead, and a garage door at the far east end bay. On the side-facing walls of the projecting middle section there is a single-window set at the rear.

The outer bays of the middle section set back above the 8th floor, with the outer two also setting back above the 10th, along with the end bays. The inner setbacks have white metal railings.

The building was converted to a co-op in 1985, with 120 apartments.
