161-foot, 16-story mid-century modern cooperative-apartment building completed in 1964. Designed by Robert L. Bien, it is clad in white brick, with black brick spandrels between the piers at the center three bays. These three bays of triple-windows project out from the rest of the main facade beginning at the 3rd floor, with the two middle piers extending down to the ground. The main entrance is in the eastern of these three bays, with a sliding glass door below a peaked, grey canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. The middle bay has two metal-framed glass doors to a commercial space on the ground floor, occupied by a medical office.
On either side of the three center bays are two bays of double-windows and end bays with triple-windows. On the ground floor the triple-windows are split into a single-window and metal service door. Each of the window bays has aluminum framing, and a metal air-conditioning vent below it.
The end bays terminate at the 11th floor, with the rest of the facade setback back above the 13th floor, with the other outer bays at the 12th-13th floors merging into a tripartite window bay on both sides. The 14th floor marks the main roof line, with a small 2-story penthouse level set far back at the rear of the roof and topped by a water tank enclosure.
The east and west elevations are clad in tan brick with four bays of single-windows. The building was converted to a co-op in 1984, with 115 apartments.
