8-story Neo-Classical/Modernist mixed-use building originally completed in 1911 as a 3-story office building. Designed by Jardine, Kent & Hill, it is clad in white-painted stone. A later expansion added floors to the top in a modern style, and it was converted to residential use.
The ground floor has entrances at both ends, with glass doors set in simple surrounds with small cornices; the east entrance is to the commercial space on the ground floor, covered by a blue canopy extending out over the sidewalk. Between the entries are three plate-glass show-windows. A cornice caps the ground floor, and the 3-story base is dominated by a pair of 2-story Corinthian columns at the 2nd-3rd floors, dividing the middle section into three bays of recessed double-windows with iron spandrels between floors. The end bays have single-windows, with gilded shields between floors.
The 4th floor has two double-windows in the middle and also at the ends, with a square, blind-window opening to the inside of both end bays. The 5th-7th floors also have two double-windows in the middle, with single-windows next to them, and recessed balconies with metal railings at the end bays. A shallow gable tops the middle of the 7th floor, with the 8th floor set far back. The east and west side elevations are blank concrete walls.
The building was converted to condominiums in 1988, with 13 units. The ground floor is occupied by a Citibank branch.
