The saga of Telangkhedi lake, also known as Futala-talav, differs from other lakes in the city. Here Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) is raking in money from the name of lake but is least bothered about its conservation. The lake's condition is worsening with time. It has now become a congested area with a large number of illegal stalls cropping up right under the nose of NIT officials.
