Some information about Totladoh Irrigation Project.
Official Designation of Totladoh Dam Irrigation Project is "Totladoh Dam , D - 05107 " . However local and popular name is " Totladoh Lake / Totladoh Talav " . Totladoh Dam was constructed as part of Hydroelectricity / irrigation project by Government of Maharashtra in the year 1989. It is built on and impounds Pench River , Nearest city to dam is Ramtek in Nagpur District of Maharashtra . The dam is a Masonryl Dam .The Length of dam is 680 ( 2230.97 feet ) , while the Height of the dam above lowest foundation is 74.5 m (244.42 feet ) . The Project has Ogee type of spillway , it is installed with 14 Radial Type of spillway gates . Length of the spillway is 207 m ( 679.13 feet ). Dam's catchment area is is 427.3 Thousand Hectors . Maximum / Gross storage capacity is 1241.0 MCM. Live storage capacity is 1091.0 MCM. Now a days almost all the water bodies make for good picnic spots. Totladoh Lake is also a popular Tourist attraction for its scenic beauty . It is located in Pench Wild Life Sanctuary which is a major tourist attraction.

Totladoh dam, is a gravity/masonry dam on Pench River near Ramtek in Nagpur district in State of Maharashtra .It was built in 1989 for the main purpose of Hydroelectricity.The height of the dam above lowest foundation is 74.5 m (244 ft) while the length is 680 m (2,230 ft). The volume content is 972 km3 (233 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 1,241,109.00 km3 (297,757.88 cu mi).It had Ogee typeof spillway of 207 mtrs length .It has 14 Radial type of spillways.
