151-foot, 12-story Neo-Renaissance cooperative-apartment building completed in 1912 as an office and manufacturing building. Designed by Schwartz & Gross and B.N. Marcus, it is clad in buff-colored brick above a 3-story base outlined in limestone. The ground floor has the main entrance at the west end, with slightly-recessed wood-and-glass double-doors below a short wood-framed transom, with a taller transom on top. To the left is a glass-and-metal storefront; the display-windows are framed at both ends by paneled iron pilasters, and there are glass double-doors at the east end.
The 2nd & 3rd floors have large tripartite windows in three bays, separated by paneled, brown iron pilasters, and with a paneled iron spandrel between the floors. The base is capped by a stone band with rounded modillions on the underside.
The upper floors have three bays of double-windows with brown iron mullions. They have continuous stone sill courses, and the spandrels between floors are decorated by a rectangular panel at each bay with a medallion flanked by floral ornament. A stone cornice tops the 10th floor, with a band of floral ornament across it, and stylized capitals at the piers below. The 11th floor has paired windows, and the top floor has has segmental-arched paired windows in stone surrounds that are also segmental-arched. Stone capitals at the piers, with copper bases, support a stone band across the roof line.
The side elevations are clad in red and tan brick with several bays of single-windows. The building was converted to a co-op in 1980. The ground floor is occupied by Grand Power Trading.
