Former "Broad Hollow Farm" estate. Colonial Revival c. 1891 by Richard Morris Hunt for attorney Thomas Hitchcock, Sr. Hunt designed alterations to a c. 1725 85-acre farm house which is believed to have been built by Edmond Titus. The estate had trees moved from Hicks Nurseries.

Now owned by Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre for a cemetery and has since been demolished after falling into total disrepair.

  • Broad Hollow Farm is now gone. The main house that dated back to the 1700's has been torn down. A large cemetery is coming. Can't wait.
