Michelin-starred New American restaurant owned by Danny Meyer which opened in 1994. It includes the large-scale mural entitled "Cornucopia" (1994) by Robert Kushner which wraps around the main dining room area. The rustic, Neo-Colonial interior was designed by Bentel & Bentel Architects as a reiteration of classic tavern architecture. Interestingly, Kushner also produced neckties with his signature neon look in the 1970's.

They are known for making a secret $18 burger made from scrap cuts of meat ground in-house served on a wheat bun topped with crumbled cheese from Jasper Hill Farms, pickled watermelon rind, cucumbers, a trio of onions, tomato, lettuce and homemade ketchup, mustard, and smoked bacon mayo. Only 20 of them are made per day, and it is often sold out by the end of lunch service.
