Red Canyon Wind Energy Center is a wind farm located along various canyon rims (and between the west and east sections of the Brazos wind farm) 3+ miles southwest of US Highway 84 about halfway (~20 miles each way) between Post and Snyder, Texas. Commissioned in 2006, it consisted of 56 GE Energy 1.5sle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 84 MW.
In 2017 the turbines were upgraded from 77 m diameter rotors to 87 m rotors, making them model GE 1.5-87.
