A trio of 5-story residential/mercantile buildings completed around the same time in the late 1800s as store-and-loft buildings. The current 2-story storefronts were installed in 1914, with some cosmetics changes to the ground floors since. Each facade is three bays wide and faced in painted smooth stucco.

No. 175 has round-arched windows on the upper floors, with stone sills extending past the edges of each window. At each floor, the windows grow progressively shorter, and air-conditioning vents have been cut below the outer bays. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with brackets and dentils and a fascia board with metopes.

No. 177 has simple square-headed windows at each upper floor and a modest band course at the roof line. No. 179, with the most recent storefront update - framed in beige polished granite - has full surrounds at the upper windows, which are footed at the 4th & 5th floors. The short 5th-floor windows are round-arched. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with paired brackets and panels at each bay.

The ground floors are occupied by ToothDocs dentist, Hale & Hearty restaurant, and Tina's Cuban Cuisine, with Perfect Look Threading Salon, and Blue Dolphin Spa on the 2nd floors.
