154-foot, 14-story residential building completed in 1920. Designed by Theodore A. Meyer as an office building, it is clad in buff-colored brick, course on the lower four floors. The 30th Street facade has a central bay of single-windows, flanked on each side by two bays of triple-windows and another bay of single-windows. The ground floor is lined with storefronts, and there is a small metal service door at the west end. The narrow Madison Avenue side has the main building entrance at the north half, under a metal canopy surmounted by a 3-over-3 translucent window. The upper floors have bands of four windows in brown metal frames. A band course caps the coursed section at the 4th floor, with another band course above the 11th floor. A black metal fire escape runs down the 2nd-from-western bay on the south facade. Both facades have a corbelled brick cornice above the 13th floor, with the recessed penthouse level hidden from view. The western and northern elevations are blank, parged brick walls, except for a couple windows at the center of the north facade. Two large, round water towers are mounted toward the back of the roof.

The building now provides loft-style student housing for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, whose main building is next door. The ground floor is occupied by Nonono Ramen restaurant.
