5-story cooperative-apartment building originally completed in the mid-1800s as a rowhouse. It was altered in 1971 to a design by Stephen B. Jacobs, with a new modernist brown brick facade. There is a high stone stoop with brick side walls leading up to a parlor-level entrance with a square metal-and-glass canopy. To the right is a large 3-section window wrapping around the sides and top of a glass door with a small balconette with vents on either side of it. A large, 3-paned studio window fills the basement level below. The floor above the parlor level has three narrow vertical windows to the left and another on the right. The top two floors have 3-paned studio windows, offset to the left and right respectively. A few metal vents also pierce the facade, which is topped by a metal coping.
