Stanton Energy Center (not to be confused with the natural gas powered power plant with the same name near Orlando, Florida) is a wind farm located between Interstate 20 and Texas Highway 176 just north of Stanton and 20 miles west of Big Spring, Texas. Commissioned in 2008, it consists of 80 GE Energy 1.5sle wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 120 MW.
