Julius' Bar

USA / New Jersey / Hoboken / Waverly Place, 188
 bar, interesting place, apartment building

3-story residential building originally completed in 1826 as a 2.5-story house with a gable-ended shingle roof. By 1840, it had a store on the ground floor, when Adam McCandless had his grocery there. A full third story was added in 1874, but the outline of the former sloped roof remained delineated. The facade was later resurfaced in rough stucco, painted beige. The ground floor is occupied by Julius' bar.
