A row of five 5-story residential buildings completed together in 1885. They are all clad in brick, painted red at the end buildings, and a salmon-color at the middle three, fading to a paler shade at the lower floors. The ground floors all have cast-iron and glass storefronts, either flanking or next to entrances to the upper floors. Nos. 691, 695, & 699 have centered entrances, between small storefronts, while Nos. 693 & 697 have their entrances at the south end of their ground floors.
The upper floors on each facade have four bays of single-windows with flat stone lintels painted either white or a cream color, and connected at the shoulders. Four sets of black iron balcony landings cross the facades at each floor; the outer ones span four bays, and join the two outer buildings at each end, while the inner pair are shorter, each spanning two bays - also linking facades by covering one bay at the end of the three middle buildings. The facades are crowned by matching metal roof cornices, only differing in paint colors. They have brackets, modillions, and panels with diamond shapes. The cornice at No. 691 is painted red and beige, at the middle three buildings they are painted black, and at No. 699 at the north end the cornice is painted a patina green.
The ground floors are occupied by Royal Napoli Pizza, West Market, Muscle Maker Grill, West Market, Hardware Dance Club, Art of Fades barber shop, and Lilly's Shakes.
