7-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1899. Designed by G.A. Schellenger, it has a first floor of smooth stone (ashlar), with an entrance porch supported by paired columns with composite (Ionic and Corinthian) capitals. Above this floor, the walls are red brick and the windows trimmed with stone, six bays across. Those of the four floors above the first floor are square-headed with eared frames surmounted by cornices and carved motifs above them featuring lions' heads. The windows of the 6th floor are round-arched of terra-cotta, with Renaissance pilasters on each side, and above the spring line of the arches, solid spandrel panels of ornate design feature wreaths and palm fronds. The arches have keystones and egg and dart moldings which carry across between windows at spring line level.

The building's corners have stone quoins. Below the attic floor, a projecting modillioned cornice is broken in the center by a fire escape. Above this, the roof line is crowned by a smaller, simple cornice.
