3-story Federal-style residential building completed in 1829 as a 2.5-story wood-frame townhouse. It was later faced with Flemish bond brickwork (now painted white) and raised to three full floors. In the late 1960s, it was remodeled the provide a basement entrance in place of the stoop, and the roof cornice was replaced by a high brick parapet. Segmental wooden arches have been applied to all the window heads creating a pattern at variance with the long sheetmetal lintels with cornices that remain in place.
