4-story cooperative-apartment building originally completed in 1826 as a 2-story house for John Pollock. In 1854, a ground-level, cast-iron storefront was built, with Corinthian columns, and the rear portion was added. In 1860, it was raised to four floors. The facade is clad in red brick; the front windows have small cornices, and the those on the side are flush. The modillioned cornice extends across the front and along the Gay Street side above the fourth floor. The ground floor is occupied by Joe Espresso Bar.
